The Dublin Chamber Corporate Charity Cup: A Battle of the Businesses, in partnership with the City of Dublin and Dublin City Schools, is a two-day event that is all about fitness, team building and friendly competition. Employees from all over the area come together to compete in multiple individual and team challenges against other businesses to promote employee wellness and community involvement.
Area charities benefit from monetary donations made in the name of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in each division to a selected charity of choice. With the focus of the event on bettering the Columbus, Ohio, community, the philanthropic portion of this event is a key component. During the past six years, nearly $44,500 was generated by the Dublin Corporate Charity Cup: A Battle of the Businesses for the Dublin City Schools Business Academy and for high school sporting teams that volunteered at the event. In addition, $21,250 has been raised for many local non-profit organizations.
